Introducing The Baba Amte Divyang University, Jaipur, Rajasthan – Empowering Specially Abled Minds
Established through the enactment of Act No. 9 of 2023 by the Government of Rajasthan. The Baba Amte Divyang University stands as a testament to the state's commitment to inclusivity and education for specially-abled individuals. The jurisdiction of the University covers the colleges of special education of the entire state except the constituent colleges of special education of other Universities of the State and the colleges of special education of Jodhpur, Pali and Bikaner Divisions.
Leading the charge is Dr. Dev Swarup, the esteemed founding Vice-Chancellor, who assumed office on 3rd July, 2023. The university operates from its central office located at the Third Floor, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan Shiksha Sankul, J.L.N. Marg, Jaipur, with a dedicated focus on fostering an environment that facilitates holistic development and empowerment for students with special abilities.
